Coolest Projects Awards 2015

The Coolest Projects Awards is an amazing showcase of young talent. It was created to encourage, support and showcase the creativity within community. With CoderDojo, young people can make their most exciting ideas a reality, whether it is to build a website, a digital game, or even build a robot.

Ninjas from all over Ireland and some from overseas arrived at the RDS Dublin bright and breezy as the queues formed outside till doors opened at 10am.

The energy in the halls of the RDS was buzzing with excitement, kids and teens setting up their stands proudly wearing their coolest projects t-shirt getting their projects ready for showcase as the judges began their tours around each of the 500 entries. The confidence from kids as young as 7 blew me away. Alexi from the Cork City Dojo to Matthew from West Cork not to mention the team of Ninjas from Glanmire buzzed around their stands with great pride. The visible teamwork between Ninjas of all ages- 7 to 13 was impressive.
